He's absolutely ****ing abysmal yet has scored the winner vs Newcastle, Chelsea and now the Mancs

Hopefully this will be doing wonders for his confidence, then he'll come back as a fully contributing squad member. I think we could do with him now tbh, he's shown more for them than Moses and Aspas have here.

He might even get a winners medal! Hope he does.

He's not abysmal though. He's a pretty decent larker would definately be a suitable squad player.
The times they are a changin'.

The slagging Borini is getting in here is disgraceful I would be happy to have him instead of Moses

Borini is technically awful & has lacks composure but he works his bollox off.. which is admirable.

Hope he does well at Sunderland and his value increases for when we inevitably sell him. He is nowhere near good enough for LFC.

Well done Fabio keep it up.

Dan, that is pure hyperbole! He is not technically awful

If he was technically awful, he wouldn't have had the technique to take the penalty in the manner he did to win the game!

With all due respect Dan.. that doesn't make sense. Sure big lumps of CB's have taken penos in world cup finals. Any can score a peno just as anyone can miss a peno no matter how good or bad you are.

He scored and fair play but he is technically poor & a lot of the time seems to lack composure. Not good enough for LFC.

Glad he's doing well there. Good young player.

Some massive goals, would have a lot more if they didnt have him so ridiculously deep all the time.

He lacks neither composure or technique. He is perhaps not at a Ronaldo or Messi level, but he has shown plenty of times that he has the necessary skills and mental ability to be at the top level.

Still a bit rough on the edges and have been unforutnate with injuries since coming here, but it's just plain wrong to state the above mentioned especially if you had seen his contributions at Roma.

It was a beautiful penalty, placed expertly where he had decided to place it after deceiving the keeper with a stutter in the run up. Beefcake centre backs at the arse end of a penalty shootout don't do that!

I watched him at Roma and have had this opinion about him since he got here

Hope him improves, scores loads of goals against our top 4 rivals etc but IMO can't see him at LFC next season.

The fact that he has played in England especially playing in the rough and tumble of the championship means that it might not be such an adjustment for him physically, hope so anyways.

Best of luck to the lad!!
That was my first post about him, didn't crush him straight away just incase i get accused of that.

The injuries hindered him massively. I'll admit I was dubious but he has talent. Though I can't claim to seeing him play week in week out for Roma, you could see from highlights that he had technique enough to be a top flight player, and a squad player for a top 4 team.

Hopefully he' come back and have an impact. I'm a lot more hopeful for his future at Liverpool now than I was when he signed.
