No way. Brings absolutely nothing to the table in terms of getting involved in the play.

Along with Valencia he's their most hated player among the match-going fans I speak to.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Nah, those bottom three don't score many goals though sadly. I do think it'd be nice (albeit somewhat of a luxury) to have another goalscorer on the bench. At times it feels like we lack a goalscorer on the bench. Ideally, I'd like to remedy that.

      Am I ask too much?

      No, no I'm not
the spare monies will be spent on goalscoring mids to replace lucas/allan

        Always scabs a goal though!

Not that there is even a remote chance of that happening but I'd take him in a hearbeat.

He reminds me of Dirk in the way he seems to need that extra split second in front of goal so if his shot is on target the keeper has more of a chance to make a save. He's not that slow otherwise so maybe it's his timing/instincts?
            Never knowingly optimistic

The huge cheer he got when he came on today says a lot, I hope he stays with us.

He's still scored less league goals than Skrtel and one of them was from the spot. If we get a decent bid, I'd cash in.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

At the same Age Van Persie scored 2 more goals and had 1 less assist.

You can't write him off really, he's spent most of his time on the wing and has shown when called upon he can finish. He's good enough for the bench and cup games.

Depth is very important for us next season.

He'll be 23 later this month, about 18 months younger than Sturridge. He still hasn't done enough for me to think he'll make it here. As I said, if we get a decent bid for him, I would try to upgrade, but if we don't I'm happy for him to stay and prove me wrong.

he has played 20 times for us, Wasn't he injured with Roma before he came?
He then plays a few games coming back from an injury, Then it happens again.....He has had some rotten luck here and I am 100% sure we haven't seen the best of him.

The Italians rate him, Brendan obviously rates him & Swansea fans while he has shown very little for us so far I think there are genuine reasons and think he could be a very valuable squad member although I think he has loftier ambitions than being a bit part player for us and lets face it, its no disgrace not being able to get into our starting forward line at the moment

I would say that shows he is worth keeping as 18 months ago, Borini's goal scoring record looked decent enough over a short period of 40 odd games with Roma and Swansea ( 38 games, 16 goals) whereas Sturridge ( 140 games, 40 goals) looked no great shakes with many people on here not wanting Sturridge.

Aye, but after a couple of games Sturridge had shown enough to suggest he might make it (not to mention impressing for City youth, Bolton and at times Chelsea) whereas nearly 2 years on the only convincing argument I still here for Borini is he's still young and needs more time.

Despite not being a massive fan of Sturridge before we signed him, I did argue that his style would probably suit us so could understand the link, I've still to be convinced that Borini can add much to our side.

Yes but Sturridge started off on fire, fully fit and with a point to prove. Borini has always been coming back from injury and never played in the premier league before, He has shown potential with Swansea, Roma and Chelsea Reserves )
I just wouldnt be as quick to write him off< Although admittedly I think you are probably right

I would love to be proven wrong, he's a very likeable player, but close to a year on from when I initially raised my concerns, I'm still hearing the same excuses and have seen little to change my opinion, despite a few high profile decent performances.

I have been more encouraged recently though so if we don't get a decent bid, I don't mind him being given one last chance to prove his worth.
