The return of - The what we need for 3rd thread

So along with our frustrating performance this past week, comes the inevitable return of the what need to go third thread.

So this week we're looking for:

    Liverpool to beat Spurs
    Bolton to draw with Pompey
    Sheff Utd to beat Arsenal

There are a couple options for 4th, but they are the results we need to be hoping for, for 3rd place. Can see the top two happening but I think the third one is asking a bit too much.

Cant even see us winning at Spurs, let alone Arsenal getting beat.

We will win at Spurs. Having said that every away match I've ever been to we've lost except when I sat in with the home fans.

For once the miserable ****er is right though. Draw at best on saturday for us, we'll beat Bolton 1-0 in one of the worst games of football ever seen at Anfield on Monday though.

Spurs away is tough, we will need to be there or there abouts our best if we are going to win. It's one of those grounds (among many) that I always worry we'll slip up.

Until we beat a side like spurs away I don't think we can say we have truely turned our domestic away form round.

Can i ask you a question?

Why does me predicting the most LIKELY outcome, suggest that i'm being 'miserable' or need to cheer up?

                        I'm perfectly cheery

I just think, that given Spurs awesome home record and our woeful away one, that we're unlikely to win there. I hope to god i'm wrong.

But how does having that opinion mean i need to 'cheer up' exactly?

That isn't however the most likely outcome. That is just you being pessimistic.

                            Kinell...

Spurs are excellent at home, we're very poor away.

So it IS likely that we wont win!

What part of that is inaccurate?

It is your opinion and speculation, so it isn't accurate at all. We have better players and have conceded 1 goal in 8 games. We'll **** the over rated tarts.
