    Harry! Harry Kewell !

How long does he have left on his contract?

And do you think Rafa will offer him a new one - or an extension?

Does he even deserve a new contract?

Or is he a quality player who still has plenty to offer? Once he gets off his sickbed of course.

FWIW I think we're a better team with Kewell than when he's missing but these injuries just wont go away........

If he gets playing again before the end of the season and looks like he can offer something, i'd give him a contract extension, but not for the same fecking wages he's on now.

I would like nothing better to see a fit Harry Kewell performing well for Liverpool and i think he showed glimpses of that last season. I also think that by todays market his wages, 60K a week, are quite competitive. I would like to see him stay and Rafa clearly rates him so theres two reasons that he might get a bit longer.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Not sure what will come of Kewell, I guess his injuries and form in the second half of the season will be pivotal for his LFC future.
Would love to see him reporducing his best from, remains to be seen though, he is certainly a better attacking option on the left than any of the left sided players we have. I just know that if he leaves us he will stay injury free and regain his best form.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

No World Cup, won't be interested or up for it any more, he's "made it" and I have no doubt his wifes' career will come first henceforth.

I reckon he would have been gone long ago if he didnt keep on getting injured

If he wants to stay on after his current deal he should play for the minimum wage. Just to even things out.

                            Wrong.

                            £5.05 it is.

Of course we could just pretend he's some Polish and just pay him £2.50 an hour.

Harry Kewell's our best left sided player. I pray he stays injury free and gets to stay with us for another couple of years at least after his current contract runs out.
