    Ring of Fire?

I know it's probably been asked a million times, but how did we start singing Ring of Fire? Where did our fans get the idea from?

John Aldridge started it so that he could have a number 1 hit!

Think Johnny Cash did sing YNWA in one of his albums. Don't think it's related, but it could have triggered some sort of liking from LFC supporters.

John Aldridge needs to keep his singing strictly to drunken family do's. That Y Factor performance was a stinker. Still he's better than Chico.

As for Ring of Fire, I heard it was started by Carra's dad in Istanbul

He must have started it while shagging John Terry's mother, as the rumor has it.

I thought the story about Carra's dad starting it was false?

Good thinking, Carra's dad is a legend. Start's chants, gets kicked out of games and (allegedly) nailed Terry's mam. He needs to write a book or sommat

May well be pal, I heard a few versions of how it got started, just heard the Carra's dad version first. Its a wicked song, love singing it at Anfield or the pub during games. It was a staple part of our World Cup watching at my local. Got some videos of it somewhere.

Being an Evertonian doesn't mean anything. You see my point ?

It started on an away trip bus. Someone had a Johnny Cash tape and got the driver to stick it on. It then got played over and again and went off the coach into the ground, this carried on every away trip untill everyone joined in.
