    DIC - Anfield Redevelopment

I've read about rumours that DIC are looking at the potential to redevelop anfield rather than build a new ground.

Assuming that they would be able to buy the surounding streets, what potential has anfield for redevelopment?
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

I thought those rumours were about redeveloping Anfield to have more flats/hotels etc and would be as well as a new stadium

There was a piece in The Independent last week that the DIC were still hoping to re-develop Anfield. The Echo today have a front page story saying that Liverpool will hope to develop the Stanley Park site by July 2009.

Even if Liverpool could re-develop Anfield in terms of the actual stadium there would still be the problem of road access to the stadium for the increased numbers. It is bad enough as it is....
