    Pennant

shows what he can offer the team today.

    some great crosses, thro balls.

Pennant, Kuyt and Finnan linked up great at times.

shows what he can do with a bit of confidence and support

    Well played

Decent 2nd half performance from him. 1st half was as poor as he's produced all season - his final ball in the first haf was shocking. But well done to the lad for the 2nd half.

bit harsh on his first half performance, wasn't that bad, second half he was excellent.

We seem to hug the right wing so Pennant should get involved quite often. He played well today with the space he had although he still needs to work on his crossing especially when under pressure.

But still a great performance. Made up for him.

On reflection, first half they doubled up on him, and that was seen and fixed at half time by Rafa, hence the second half was much better.

as I said down to confidence and lack of support.

lets not forget the wing can be a very lonley place and often out of the action esp when things aint going right.

I've always defend him cos i can see there is something there.

Again another player who runs his socks off all match.

almost every team doubles up on him in fact some triple.

                  and why?

cos he can deliver and they know stop him and his head will drop.

Kuyt and Finnan gave him great support 2nd half and the rest is history

Thought he played well the day did Jermaine, 2nd half in particular.
Shielded the ball better today and got some good balls inot the box, also played some lovely balls down the side to Kuyt,
Keep it going lad, well done.

I think you're giving him a ridiculous amount of praise for an average performance lads. He was largely ineffective.

He really needs to be more decisive and a bit more determined. He's getting there but he's no Cristiano Ronaldo.

He was one of our best outlets today. But come on, comparing him to Ronaldo?

Largely ineffective? Set up Crouch's goal, played a part in SG's goal.

Let's just slag him off shall we?

Our right back was a better attacking outlet than him today.

He's got a long way to go before he's good enough.
