    Do you know this?

I cant see anyone other then Chelsea pay more then that for David Villa.

Rafa is a very respected manager in Spain. At the time Rafa wanted to sign Villa from Zaragoza we was a club on the way down and Valencia had won the league. Now It's a totally different story. We are a club on the way to the top if the takeover happens and Valencia may miss out on a top four place and the CL next season.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

          3. Ok, this is my opinion. But if he does not want to move up from Valencia he is IMHO not very ambitious and there for Rafa would not rate him, and if he would rather join Real then us then so be it.
1.a Does Rafa think he can adapt?
1.b Does he suit our formation/approach?

The answers to that, the fact that is 25M AND the fact Villa doesn't want to play in england, all lead to the inevitiable conclusion.

The one thing I can tell you as fact is that David Villa has stated on numerous occasions that he doesn't want to play in the prem. There's nothing else that needs to be said. The lad could go on to Real or Barca and improve his career, he doesn't have to move abroard to do that and he's made it clear that he has no desire to move to another country. That's a fact that can't be argued.

I'm sure Rafa does rate him as I'm sure do a few other managers and I'm sure DIC will give us some more cash but I doubt they'll cover the cost of £25-£30,000,000 for a player. Especially one that has no desire to move to our club. The last thing they'll want to do is go down the Chelsea route.

They have said that his buyout clause is £10,000,000 for the player and he has a contract until 2010. Add that to the fact that the player does't want to move.

                It's not rocket science.

A - Rafa wouldn't have tried to sign him from Zaragoza if he didn't think he could adapt.

B - Same as the above.

I wouldn't say anything is deffo when it comes to quoting players. They say what their agents want them to say. If Chavski offered him 25 million a year plus a private jet and pilot he'd change his mind.

Well the fact he's said he doesn't want to play in the EPL, more than once, would mean you're assumptions are BS. Sorry!
