I cannot substantiate this but I was doing my normal morning surf when I came across this comment from Dazza7 on the BBC Transfer Gossip:

“hi
i am a YTS boy at liverpool and thought id let you know that my mate who is good freinds with the asst. manager pako told me to brace myself as i am going to see the best ever striker David Villa is coming to melwood to look around tomorrow.”

Who knows if this is true but keep your peep holes open tomorrow!

If true he's probably just looking round the facilities, I believe Raul did it and i did hear Shevchenko was there last season (although I can't back the second up with fact before anyone asks).

I don't think the way it's written sounds likely, but I do think it's likely that Villa has been round Melwood considering he was obviously in the Directors box at someones invitation.
