I thought he was one of the worst of em. Absolutley terrible in centre of the park. Wasnt entirely his fault he was out of position, but that said he was still woeful.

Of all the summer signings Kuyt and Aurelio have showed genuine promise. Bellamy is a matter of settling in, imo.

We won't know that until it happens, but it sure looked like he needed a "sergeant major" figurehead out there marshalling the troops, barking the orders, and no-one took command or control, the Captain of the Guard was doing things at the other end.

I think you should use the words "brilliant" and "lead" loosely. I think the first goal was more down to garcia and fowler's great positioning.
