    There's plenty of posts around suggesting he ain't the answer, but we shouldn't be focusing on nationality, we should be focusing in on Liverpool FC, and whether they are, or are not, good enough to pull on the Red shirt.

        Pennant is hot and cold. Aurellio is a utility player, and a useful one at that.

        I've got no real answers, but until we get attacking release down the flanks from our full backs and wide midfielders, we'll always be trying to play down the centre. Predictable and wastefull of our front two.

            True, at least thats what rafa has tried to do in buying speedy and pennant, out and out wingers. There were better wingers available yes, before people name them, but least we're on the same mindset.

                  Thought Aurelio had a decent game, was always available but seemed to be on his own in the middle.

                      I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area.                                 I agree its too early to judge Paletta as he is only young and inexperienced, but last night's performance was very worrying. He looked unfit, one-paced, and his positional play was woeful. Also for a big lad he seemed to get shrugged off the ball rather easily.

                                He was so highly rated in Argentina by wiser heads than me, so he must have something about him, but he was unfortunate to come into the side in front of one experienced player (Dudek) and beside another (Sami) who were both ****.

                                As was stated earlier, maybe a spell on loan somewhere might help.
