      I would sign him.

He is up there with Cole as best left back in the PL.

Just picked this up on the BBC gossip page. If he's available would you want him? I think he'd be an excellent addition to the squad.
          I concur!

Perhaps he is injury prone but when he was playing regularly for the Scum he was one of their stand out players - certainly better than our left back contingent.

Great, injury prone LB, injury prone LW, just what we need, not.

A very good player IMO. Would deffo welcome him in our squad but there's no ****in' way that Aul' Whiskey Nose would sell him to us anyway

Just read his contract expires in June, so they may not have much choice.

Trouble is only United know the extent of the injury he suffered and how it is affecting him as a player, and they don't seem in any rush to offer him a new deal.

Argentine defender Gabriel Heinze, who has been linked to Tottenham, Juventus, AC Milan and Valencia but could leave on a free transfer in the summer, has told Manchester United he is going nowhere. (Daily Star)

Didn't realise he was available for free. Maybe he would be a decent signing.
