    One thing is for sure.

Three points against West Ham is a MUST.

14 games to go, we'll have to win 12/13 of them.

              Yep.

We could realistically actually achieve that, no domestic cup duties anymore.

We went on a 10 game winning streak at the end of last season didn't we? And we'd done the same already once during the season.

I seriously doubt we will win it, but I'm not going to rule it out, and if we keep winning who knows?

All we can do is to continue winning. Anything can happen in football. The scum have difficult away matches. What today showed was that they are not as good as we are and we messed up at the begining of the season.

If i was given a choice today, I will take 2nd: because it help pre season preparation if you do not need to qualify for the CL via the 3rd or final rounds. That has been part of the reason for our poor starts for the last two seasons.

Aim for the treetops and you might only reach the stem of the tree; aim for the sky and you might reach the treetop; aim for the stars and you might reach the sky.

The biggest loser this weekend were the Chavs. Biggest winners Arse and us. the Scum have not anything: on the contrary they have lost 2 points.

come March 3rd: if they have lost between 3 and 6 points of there lead from us then they are catchable.

It might just come down to Man U needing a result away at west Ham on the last day of the season...history to repeat itself? But it needs to start with Arsenal today, Us and Chelsea to beat them, and the likes of Spurs and Citeh to pull something out, and Bolton and Blackburn to do what they do best.
                    time on your hands mate?

i think youre right about united being catchable - even on your list i think they will drop points at fulham, pompey, city and even the blades if they have an off day and youve got them down as winning most of those.

I hope we can get as many points as that but i still dont think 82 will win it. theres also the small matter of arsenal in the equation.

spot on - but on a winning run, it gets easier with every game.

Right. I'm going to say it again. Those of us that are being "optimistic", are aware of how an uphill task this is. I consider our normal form to be that of last season's league - perhaps even a bit better. We've had all our worse aways. We can win 95% all of our games between now and the end of the season, home and away. And it is crucial that we beat the Manc scum and Arsenal. We will have to break another record or two. But it can be done. One game at a time.

Now granted, United have to **** up. But I tell you: they will. What is in question is if they'll screw up enough. If we don't win the Prem, we'll be snapping at their heels from second place.

I'm not going to broadcast this, except to you guys. I'll be a bit conservative and confine myself to saying to others that we'll close the gap. But I know, in my heart, that we carry the potential to sneak up on the leaders and spring the surprise of the season.

Play it close to your chest. Don't just believe; know!
No! I am NOT in denial!

If there WAS the most tiny 0.0000001% chance of us winning it, it has now diminished...

I do think we will finish second though.
