just worked out, from the same fixtures last year (against the same teams...subbing newly promoted for demoted) we got 35 points...
winning all except a draw to the scum and charlton at anfield...and a loss to fulham away...

Winning the league again is such a precious dream that I'd be careful getting my hopes up even if we were the ones with the big lead. I cannot see it but there's no harm in dreaming. Its good to have optimistic threads again so soon after the Arsenal games.
A side point - over our last 12 league games we have a very healthy 24-1 goal difference. Reina - one season wonder it was suggested!I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.Comment

The scum have to go to Chelsea, Tottenham, Portsmouth, Man City and Everton, as well as visiting Anfield. All difficult games for them.
I know we had a difficult run of away games at the start of the season, but it's out of the way and gone now. I'd rather have the games we have left, than face that lot in the run in.Oh I don't know.Comment
