McSheffrey is looking class at Brum, but wouldnt be that cheap, they paid a lot for him, but i think he would offer us a lot at LM if he can adapt.

He's a striker though, we can do without buying more strikers and then shoving them on to the wing.

Looks a class act at that level though, and scores some wonderful goals. However I doubt very much he's anything like LFC class.

He is mainly playing Left wing for them and scores hitting the box late or cutting in, as i say if he could adapt to the Prem he would be perfect.

Forget Martins mate, he makes Cisse look like a cool-as-a-cucumber assassin in front of goal. Sure he scores some great-looking goals but 8 times out of 10 they go into row Z.

While Rafa is in charge, we would never, ever sign Martins.

                    Outside the PL....

                    Alves
                    Lahm
                    Klose
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I'd go along with them. Particularly Lahm. Positionally they are good calls but I'm not sure Rafa is a fan of the German market.

hmm, thats not really the point of the thread

I was looking to see who the most highly rated and maybe overlooked talents are, in the english leagues.

So far we seem to have:

                        Lennon
                        Richards
                        Gamst Pedersen (good call)
                        Bale

                        Martins?
                        Thomas Hicks Senior

                                My 3 would be
Owen - simply the best striker in the league apart from Henry
Lennon - very good player now, with bags more to come
Downing - top class crosser of the ball. Still a bit hit & miss but would thrive under Rafa
