    Remember that goal...

Crouch scored against us, season before last, at St Mary's?

Powerful drilled header into the net, unstoppable...

    WTF has happened?

If Crouchy HADNT aimed a pitiful header that trickled 3 yards into a random, harmless area, almost every time he's headed for goal for us, then you might have a point.

It wasn't really an unstopable header it was just Dudek's poor positioning and Pellingrandaddy chuffing up.

When the ball comes over for Crouch to head it - he's invariably already there waiting for the ball to drop which means he can't generate any power. He waits for the ball instead of attacking it basically and it isn't gonna change. We've just got to put up with the fact that he's got a head like a cushion !!

Yeah i know howard mate, but he obviously CAN attack it and generate power, it's been proven - he just DOESNT...which is infuriating.

Ok, maybe not 'unstoppable' but it was powerful and emphatic.

Why cant he do it for us???

It looks like he's afraid of missing the frame of the goal when he heads the ball. And then he heads it right in to the path of a goalkeeper. If GK would stand in the KOP, Crouch would head the ball to him. For sure.

Exactly, he had more space than tara palmer tompkinson's baggy vest. He has never been great with his head.

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

His goal against us was from about 2 yards out as well.

And I think he and Camara forged a great partnership. If you watched them two play together, it was just fantastic. They knew where eachoter were all the time!
