Thanjk you.

I've got to agree Red mate.
i watched the press conference yesterday and you couldn't help but be impressed by the two of them. On the face of it, it looks a very solid deal for LFC. I tried to find something I didn't like about them but in all honesty couldn't.
All this goaltender, franchise stuff doesn't bother me, its just different words for the same thing, like pavement & sidewalk. If i'm totally honest if they were from virtually any other country I'd be made up with the pair of them & in truth as long as they do the right thing for LFC, then thats all as I fan I can ask for.
Parry has even come out on Five Live apologising for George's misuse of words, which I find insulting towards the Yanks, seeing into what lengths they've gone to make it all sweet and cushy for us fans.
"George maybe made that mistake a couple of times," Parry told BBC Radio Four's Today programme.
"If I went over there I might make the odd linguistic mistake."
There will always be pompous know-it-alls who will never be satisfied with anything. Always whinging about something. Pathetic.
I'm immensely pleased with the new owners, I was - like many others - very positively surprised at how they dealt with the media and their conduct in general.
in due time they will learn all the terminology of footy and without noticing they'll have a Scouse accent just like our Jamie
i feel pretty confident - neither came across as trying to be something they weren't - i.e. lifelong reds - and their first pr exercise was a match for DIC's love-in.
hicks looks like a big texan hardass and gillett looks and sounds quite gentlemanly/reserved but determined and respectful of our tradition - not bad qualities for money men backing our club. the old fashioned part of me really liked the way the see themselves as business families and were anxious to make this clear.
what would make me happier here is an end to "****in yanks, i hate em all, all 300 million of em but not as much as those ****in arabs - there's at least a billion of them and i've met everyone of them and their all nob-deep in their camels with shifty eyes and an obsession with honour despite being lying sand-monkeys but they had bottomless pockets like that mafia c/unt abramovich but i'm above all these *******s. never liked spics till rafa but he's just class - a rarity in his country unlike here where we're all honest to god hard-workin salt of the earth. it's too ****in hot in those places anyway. and their national anthems are ****e. ours is brilliant and i expect to feel just the same after my irony-transplant. hope some ****in foreign doctor doesn't do it. i want lord nigel coxley-farnworth to do it - i have much more in common with him..."
Missed most of this so here's my two-penneth.
I couldn't possibly have been more impressed by them - especially GG. I was a Gillett cynic but hey, I'm a fickle ****er with absolutely no principles, and now I love him!
Seriously though, the 'franchise' blips apart, he couldn't possibly have spoken any better at the press conference. I felt a huge surge of relief and optimism go coursing through my veins. Very happy.
I hope everybody gets behind them now.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
That's a hands on approach and that's what I want to see. It's unrealistic to expect Gillett Jnr (Dad) and Hicks to be at every game. Doing it by Proxy through Foster is fine by me. He is the Liverpool supporter in the family and knows his history allegedly. That'll do for me.
I suppose it could have been worse though, George Gillet Jnr or even worse George Gillet III. Why do they often do that in USA. Imagine going to school in the 'pool with a name like that.

My grandfather's name is Foster as is his great grandson. And please..don't be giving us yanks **** about names, not when you have just as many odd ones as we do. Though I do agree that Foster is a **** name.
