Mexican starlet linked with Liverpool move
    09:16 February, 12, 2007

Giovanni Dos Santos Ramirez is set to become the latest young talent snapped up by the Reds

Liverpool have stepped up their recruitment drive after seeing at first-hand how Arsenal's young stars are performing and 17-year-old Dos Santos fits the bill.

The Barcelona B player came to prominence with his displays for Mexico in the World under-17 tournament in 2005.

I just hope we have the right people in place to bring these youngsters through.

I seriously worry we haven't though

i know he's very highly rated by barca, and was supposed to play for the first team this year, doubt they'd let him go...

Isn't he Barca's most prized young asset? Would love it if we got him but can't see it in a million years unless he has recently done a Cherno Samba.

Nah they have another player who they see as a better potential, can't remember his name but it was something like Krankjar or summit! Ballague was raving about him reccently.

I think Mexicans dance the Alegria, Salsa and Flamenco but I've not seen them do a Samba...

Krkic. He has broken every youth scoring record for them.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Yes he is. He is supposed to take over after Ronaldinho.

I would be delighted if Rafa signed him.
