old match day programmes

I pissed in that tent, didnt nick the programmes though. I had to get one off feckin ebay.

My mate got one once we got back, I had a look thru it then decided I couldnt be arsed buying one because it was ****. Also it kinda lost its appeal to me since anyone could buy one. Kept my stub instead.

ive recently found some old match day programmes from the glory days.

Liverpool v Tottenham 1968 FA Challenge Cup @ Anfield
Liverpool v Leeds 1974 Charity Shield
Liverpool v West ham 1981 League Cup Final.

would these be worth anything? They are all in very very good condition.

i dont think i would sell them, but if they were worth a bit it would be good to know.

some of the lineups are fantastic. The guy that had them even wrote the final scores and scorers on a piece of paper in each programme.

Keep hold of them for now, I buy and sell programmes all the time. Pre 50's programmes and euro finals or euro away do well. One of the rarest ones i'm about to sell is our first european cup programme 64-65 season when shanks was in charge, its worth a few quid.
Just to warn people who buy off ebay that there are people who can make copys so if you buy a 30 year old programme and is in mint condition smell the paper if it smells new then you have got a copy, also paper ages quickly. The latest programme that has loads of copys at the moment is the 85 european cup final so you have been warned.

I think i have stubs all the home matches in the champions league that year and Istanbul stub

Ive still got my ticket intact. with just a little tear, they had no ****in clue what they were doin that night, the best souvenier i have is my shirt for the day with "European Cup Final 05" on the back still unwashed, never worn again and oh signed by Steven Gerard. Best day of my life properly commemerated.
