    old match day programmes

ive recently found some old match day programmes from the glory days.

    Liverpool v West Ham 1962 @ Anfield
    Everton v Liverpool 1962 @ Goodison
    Liverpool v Burnley 1968 @ Anfield
Liverpool v Tottenham 1968 FA Challenge Cup @ Anfield
Liverpool v Leeds 1974 Charity Shield
Liverpool v West ham 1981 League Cup Final.

would these be worth anything? They are all in very very good condition.

i dont think i would sell them, but if they were worth a bit it would be good to know.

some of the lineups are fantastic. The guy that had them even wrote the final scores and scorers on a piece of paper in each programme.

"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." It's worth checking out mate.

My dad has got loads in his attic, I keep telling him he should get them valued, he's got the 1965 FA Cup Final and loads from that era.

If i was you Harvey I would never sell them. I have many proggys as well from years gone by when I used to live in Blighty. It never crossed me mind to sell them as they are to dear to me. Keep them mate. Think about it, when you have retired, 70 years of age and cant get off the settee you can read them all over again.

You can get them valued without selling them, to pass them down to your kids, grandkids etc...

My best programme is the one I got from Steve Heighway's testimonial match.

Sadly I don't have many other old ones, it was a choice between a programme or the bus home most weeks.

One of me fave ones was the Charity Shield against Manure in 1983 I think. Me first trip down south to Wembley & that **** Robson scored a brace for 0-2 defeat.

Istanbul for me. Even though I didn't get one until about two months after the match!

My father-in-law, a Wolves fan, recently found a Liverpool vs. Wolves programme from 1967 in his attic. A very interesting read it was too.

I had to say no though when he tried to give it to my kids to keep - perhaps they can have it when they've grown up a bit more to appreciate it.

Ha.....fond memories, getting to the stadium and seeing an official match programme tent. Get up to the tent, walk around to the entrance and it's full of fella's having a piss and not a programme in sight

The only 2 I've ever kept are Ron Yeats's testimonial which I got signed by him and Oldham Away in the Milk Cup in 1985 because it was my first away game

I have a Matchday programme from the Galatasaray game (27.09.06)

How much is it worth now that it is almost 6 months old?
