I've got this feeling that at least one of our key players will get injured against the Scum.
I just have this gut feeling that the Mancs will go in to tackles roughly with one purpose and one purpose only - to injure our players and weaken the squad before the Barca game.
What 'cha say? Anything's possible with this künts!

I also think that's on the Sunday, giving them just Monday in-between games. Big ask for them.Originally posted by pondus View PostI think Barca meet second placed Seville the weekend before we meet them, so it's not like they have it any easier than us..Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yep, they play AWAY at Sevilla late on Sunday night and then play us on Tuesday night. That's 2 games in 3 days and an awful lot of travelling, too.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostI also think that's on the Sunday, giving them just Monday in-between games. Big ask for them.
The crowd will be absolutely buzzing on Tuesday night, we should hit Barcelona with a high tempo, press high, and exploit Barcelona's weaknesses early on, specifically in the air.
I cant really see any point in Rafa saying 'sit back and keep it at 0-0 lads'.
If Barcelona have enough of the ball and enough of the momentum, they are more than capable of scoring two or three goals at Anfield.

Agree Jamo, all out attack for the first 20, they'll not know what's hit them ala Juve a few years ago, we got 2 early goals and they had no answer.Last edited by Marky; 25-02-07, 01:29 AM."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Agreed, there defence is there for the taking imo, they are distinctly shaby imo at the back and will be jaded after a away trip to Sevilla. Sitting back would be the wrong idea, cautious yesm but you can not let even a jaded Barca attack keep you under presure.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostYep, they play AWAY at Sevilla late on Sunday night and then play us on Tuesday night. We'll go at them full pelt & with the Anfield roar still buzzing in their ears they'll be rocked.
They'll be a danger if we let them keep a clean sheet for more than say 20 mins, cos by that point the crowd will be quietened & they'll start to play.
An early goal is key.

Barcas game against Sevilla is on Saturday and not Sunday.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

IF we can contain Ronaldo I think we´ll have a very good chance on current form. He has been the difference for them this season and it looks like he´s going to win them the title. Zenden won´t play IMO, Arbeloa and Riise on the left and Gerrard and Finnan on the right to contain Ronaldo and Giggs. Xabi and Momo will then boss midfield with Kuyt and Bellers upfront.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

It'd be nice if Mascherano came on and scored the winning goal, that in turn sent Man U on a loss of form, thus costing them the title.
Sir Alex Vaginafungus wouldn't like that.On the Ning Nang Nong
