I was commenting on the general trend that some posters have of criticizing everything about the club and players. Before the game they are posting that they have a "BAD Feeling" about the game and then once we've smashed the team, they start finding faults on how we won the game. Surely if you support a team you wouldnt nitpick on everything that happens on/off the Field.

Yes I have Liverpool tinted specs and I'm not neutral where LFC is concerned. SFW - I'm just following the Role model that made me love this club so much - Bill Shankly
I'm not saying this to have a go, i'm just being honest...but IMO, if someone can praise the positives, but allegedly not see (or acknowledge) the negatives, that doesnt make their outlook too credible.

I know you dont care what i think, but many dont care what many think. We still express our views.

If he was going down without any contact like Ronaldo did last week, then I'd be bothered.

But he's not. If players bump, block, or 'embrace' (like today - that was just a daft thing to do :whatever: ) in the penalty box, then they can't be surprised when they get penalized.

Maybe the no contact thing is the next step. I sincerely hope not.

Having said that, he did it in the bolton game anyway

Basically, I would have been more pissed if he hadn't a gone down. I'd rather a goal than the moral high ground in this instance.

Ok lets have a witch hunt and burn our skipper at the stake

No one doubts Stevie does, on occasion, go down easily, but comparing him to the likes of Ronaldo & Dogbreath is ridiculous. There's a big difference between going down/making the most of minimal contact and blatant diving like those two regularly engage in, flinging themselves about/holding their faces/acting like they've been shot.
"the correct decision would have been a penalty for us a red card for Gattuso and a yellow for Stevie"

You are not allowed to use your arms to pull/push players like he was doing though. I'd say it was an incredibly soft pen, but a pen all the same by the letter of the law. Of course the ref should've shown more common sense, and that's what Warnock was alluding to.

Well yes there is, but do you think it would've been given had gerrard not gone down? I dont.

Furthermore, was that contact sufficient to actually FORCE gerrard onto the floor? No.

He could've stayed up, the contact wasnt fall inducing. He CHOSE to go down though. That contact was minimal.

                              Not a foul IMO.
