No just Alves, not Aguero or Diego.

Aguero is available for €35m, maybe Rafa will sign him but I don't think that. Diego would probably cost £20m+.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

hmmm would he go there? I know, he says goof things about the top 4 in England, but surely Jose is gone at the end of the season right?
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

        * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

It wouldn't matter. I think the time of the Chavs being able to lure whomever they want to that ****hole of a club are slowly coming to an end. 3 years have been enough for the footballing world to see what they're about. At the end of the day, they could chuck however much they want at any player, but if they don't want to move there, player power prevails.

            Who would you rather II

            Eto or Villa?

            Price is £25m

            Eto gets my choice.
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

I'd take Eto'o, just for the possibility that he would be pictured at Anfield, flanked either side by Gillet and Hicks, under the caption 'Eto'o and the Moneymen'.

I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

                      Ok a question
As I only see very brief highlight shows of Spanish footie I have never seen Eto'o over 90 mins, so any opinions about his overall game/workrate etc??

I have read some people saying he is egotistical/selfish, but is this in a good way like many top strikers, or a bad way.
Obviously there is some discord at Camp Nou right now, is this partly his fault??

They're both great players with an outstanding record in Spain but I've a feeling that Rafa will be looking closer to home to help us win the Premiership next season. Don't be surprised if we're bidding on players like Bent and Defoe rather than Eto'o and Villa. Before you smart arses respond by saying "Darren Bent's not fit to lace Eto'o's boots", maybe not but our priority is the English league not Europe and Bent (and to a lesser degree Defoe) has a proven track record in the Premiership...

Iaquinta, Voronin, Bent and Defoe as our strikers - talk about sending out a message to the rest of the Premiership :whatever:

A proven 20 goal a season striker simply must be brought in for next season.
If we dont then theres no way we will challenge the top 2 yet again

defo we need a top class player who has done it at international level and the champos league defoe has proved not good enough on the international stage and bent isnt clinical enough! for me villa is the man and it will be massive bucks to get him it will be interesting to see if we are willing to break the bank on one player!
