Klose is better and cheaper than Berbatov.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Berbatov should be at a better club than Spurs IMO.

Balague suggested last night that there is no way Barcelona want Eto'o to go in the summer. He said something along the lines of "Sell a striker who scores 30 goals a season and lays on as many more for his teammates? It makes no sense that they would sell him."

Perhaps the Eto'o rumours are mere mischief-making to our benefit before and during the CL tie.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

                  Eto'o demands Barca recall
By Mark Buckingham - Created on 4 Mar 2007

Samuel Eto'o is demanding to play in Barcelona's UEFA Champions League tie with Liverpool as he lines up a move to the Premiership.

The striker sat out the 2-1 defeat in the first leg at Camp Nou as he continues his quest for full fitness after a knee injury.

He came on as a substitute in Saturday's 2-1 loss at Sevilla, but is desperate to start against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday.

Aware of the strong interest in his services from England, the Cameroon international wants the chance to press his claims for a summer move.

"England is a sensational country for football and any time I leave that will be my destination because the Premiership is fantastic for strikers," said Eto'o in the News of the World.

"Arsenal and Chelsea have caught my attention in the last few months, although there has been no definite contact.

"Jose Mourinho is a good coach and I believe he is a fan of mine.

"But for the moment I can think only of Barcelona and have demanded of Rijkaard that he plays me against Liverpool."

Though Barca trail from the first leg, Eto'o remains confident the holders can progress to the quarter-finals.

He added: "It's going to be hard and we must concentrate from the first minute because we can't afford to give them chances like we did at the Nou Camp.

"I dream of playing in the final of the Champions League again.

"I truly believe we are superior to Liverpool and I still think our moment will come in this tie."

                      Sounds like Eto'o has just kurtangle'd / Kezman'd himself

I think his attitude will change after the Anfield game when he sees what a powerfull side we are at Anfield

Just remember the Kewell transfer saga. Nobody even mentioned Liverpool, all the papers were sure it was either Arsenal or Manure.

                              Oh, that turned out well....

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

                                Of course they are.

Even with this takeover I cannot see us spending £30m on one player. Pie in the Sky stuff that.
