I would rather see Rafa sign Aguero who would cost more or less the same money but he is already a better player than Torres IMO.

wouldn't write it off though, I know they post every single snippet of info they see, but some of it's got to be right, and Rafa likes good alround stikers, which Torres is.

I never really rated Torres before the WC, but I think he showed real class during the competition. I for one would be very happy if we signed the lad. At the end of the day, there's no guarantee that any player brought in will adapt to the Prem, but if we were to end up with any one of Villa, Torres, Eto'o or Klose, I would be very happy.

I think Villa is very unrealitic. Especially when the chavs have reportably had a 45million pound rejected for him last week!

At least we are being taking seriously by the rumour mill, which is testiment to our new perceived spending power.

I don't think Torres will sign for us. Whenever, I have seen him play I have thought he looks very good, however, I just don't see him wanting a move to Liverpool.

I reckon there is more chance of signing Eto - he has already played for Madrid and now Barca, a move to another Spanish side would be a step down for him. I doubt he would go to Italy because there league is not so good these days.

If he leaves Barca I think he will go to the Prem and if he does that I think it will be to either us or the chavs
