    Daniel Agger Appreciation Thread

He's been one of the most positive things to come out of this strange season, IMO.
The lad is only 22, and is still a long way from the finished article, but his transition to first team regular has been ridiculously smooth when you think about it.
He's gone about his business with the minimum of fuss and has already racked up 37 games for us. Centre back is a very difficult position to break into the team and I think he's shown excellent maturity and the requisite aggression required for the role.
He can only get better which can only be good for us.

Marvelous talent and he'll only get better, so I'm pretty sure he'll be our legendary defender for years to come!

Class act - a centre back who can actually play and pass the ball rather than hoof it forward all the time.

He is one of the best central defenders in the league and that after just one year.

Rafas best signing IMO with Alonso a close second.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Agreed. I know Vidic was first choice, but hes not a bad second choice is he?

vidic has done very well at Scum, but I prefer Agger we needed that ball playing centre half. Cant believe he has played 61 games allready

                    61 games.

                    That can't be right, surely?

True. Agger is our Ferdinand whilst Carra is our Vidic.
