I think we'll breeze past PSV...

2-1 victory on their own turf and then we'll smash 3 or 4 past them at Anfield.

I think PSV will bottle it. Ive every confidence in us reaching the final, I just pray its not against Utd. I could not cope with losing that. I would give up LFC and go and support Marine. Although beating Utd would be the greatest ever footballing moment, never to be rivalled again by anything, Id be so happy I'd probably have heart failure and die with a big **** eating grin.

It would be awful to watch.

The single greatest or the single worst moment of my life would be decided that night.

I ****ing hope Roma put them out.

I really can't look beyond the QF at the moment. I don't feel the same inevitability about us in this years CL as I did during 2004/5. One game at a time mantra for me. Without Garcia I think we may struggle.

It would be the most uncomfortable few hours in my 19 years on this planet.
I **** them when we play them in a league match, nevermind a flippin Champions League Final.
Would be quite the horrific experience.

Could be anyone's this season. I think we did everyone a huge favour dumping barca out. Thing is footy IS a funny old game. What chance rematch us vs Milan

I think this time it has the feel of 2002 against Laverkusen more than last year against Benfica. Everyone was just focusing on meeting the mancs in the Semi, this time its the final. Only difference benig we know how to play against PSV. Attack Kronkamp.

I have thought about this a couple of times, but I can't watch that game.
Ok, if we win it will be fantastic beyond belief, but I cannot bear the thought of the Mancs winning over us in a final. A semi, ok, that I could watch. In a final for no. 6. No.

The thing with the CL especially the last 4 or 5 yrs is the sheer unpredictability of it. eg istanbul, deportivo 4 milan 0 : liv 0 benfica 2 : red ****e 1 porto 1 : monaco 5 real 2 : monaco 3 chelsea 1. etc . it made me smile this year when the panel of so called ****ing experts on sky all agreed on a chelsea , liverpool, man u & bay/milan line up in this years semis. for a start psv will be a different proposition than the group stages (see semi v milan 2005) and valencia and roma are MORE than capable of wiping the ****in' smile of taggart and the other gob****e's faces!!

PSV will be without their two most important players.

PSV will miss Alex very much. You just have to look at the game against Ajax to understand that.

If he had played then they may have had a chance but not without him.

Roma have Totti and Mancini who with a bit of magic can knockout any defense in the world. They also have a very good defense. I can't see Man U getting past them.

Valencia will just edge out Chelsea. Villa and Silva will be the key for Valencia. They also plays in the same way as we do and Chelsea doesn't like that.

Milan will be without Ronaldo and Maldini and all their other strikers hasn't been good enough this season. They still have a good defense but I believe Bayern will advance after two tight games.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If we do get Utd in the Final, and they've won the league and FA Cup - can you imagine the pressure on us to stop them winning their 2nd treble? Esp if we were 3-0 down at half time?

We'd just have to go one better and win 4-3 in normal time with a winner in the 94th minute! An OG from you've guessed it, Mr. Gary Neville.

PSV Eindhoven defender Carlos Salcido has been hit with the blow that his hip injury is worse than was initially thought.

The 26-year-old has admitted to being in some pain whilst playing and medical staff have advised him not to participate in the friendly tie against Paraguay.

Although the nature of the injury is yet to be determined, national coach Hugo Sanchez is furious with PSV coaching and medical staff for not noticing the problem sooner.

"Salcido is struggling with a serious injury and it irritates me that he hasn't had the right treatment," said Sanchez.

"It surprises me that this injury has not been dealt with professionally," he added. "PSV are one of the biggest clubs in the world and I consider Ronald Koeman a very skilful trainer."
