He definitely sticks to their message/angle whatever that may be from day to day.

Good guy, pretty good player, mediocre pundit.

That said his constant re-hashing of the "Stevie situation" as he refers to it, really has started to grate of late. It's complete speculation on his part and pure **** stirring. Though to be fair Monkey boy is always the catalyst on that topic. Now there is a cunt.

i could care less if he talks up liverpool, that's not his job. he annoys me because he's bad at his job

this might not be his fault. to go from doing nothing to being one of the main pundits on sky is a big step. unless your naturally talented at it then it's going to take time until your comfortable and able to do a good job. he seems so nervous, his body language and the way he talks indicate as much- the leaning forward and rapid fire delivery. he doesnt really seem to think about what he says. the fact fat frank is his cousin has worked against him from day one, and he's played with alot of the pro's he talks about and probably still socialises with them, which could be why he doesnt ever criticise anyone. plus he's a nice guy

Redknapp was a very good midfielder, Souness and Gerrard were World Class, Jan was top quality and Gary Mac was the right player at the right time.

Well said. But for me Gary Mac came to LFC at the wrong time. He should have come a lot ealier when we were in for him then. A good player in his day who could pass. But not box-to-box , nor was he tackler which is a pre-requisite for a Central midfielder for me. The number of times he stood off instead of getting a tackle in would infuriate the life out of me.

And how much better is our CM, now we have 4 players who will stick their foot in?

Decent player, and a steady-Eddy when we needed an old head - but certainly not a legend in my book.
