There isn't a better CM selection for club (or possibly country?) than that in the world, excellent.

I agree but Momo has to improve his distribution or he'll find his games to be limited, especially if Mascherano continues to bed in as well as he looks to be doing.

I can picture Didi just doing that.... back to the opposing player, going nowehere, referee watching.. timber! Didi falls flat.... free kick. Opposing player doesn't quite know what he's done.


The number of times he got us out of trouble by doing that! Intentionally winning a free kick and buying us time.

The question is then, Will Momo be happy to play in 15-20 games or will he demand a move to another club and play every week?

The key for Momo is to play very often if he want to improve. I can't see him doing that next season if he stays.

Win medals or just play every week for nothing, dunno, hard choice, medals for me as it means I would nearly always get International recognition and called up, and I'd prob prolong my career, and be able to pass on great stories of what I won, not what I might have won.

Central midfield is one area of the squad that is genuinely good enough to win the title.

I think Rafa will play three of the four in every game, meaning they will all have their fair chunk of first team football. I imagine we'll see Stevie playing all over the place next season, left, right, off the main striker, in the center etc etc

I don't think DJS is comparing them in terms of stature as an LFC player - in fact I know he isn't. He's clearly talking about the type of player he is.

There are too many people on this forum willing to jump straight down DJS' throat, regardless of what he posts and however valid and worthwhile the post may be. Stop it - it's tiresome.

..all judging the guy after two decent games for us. ****, I'd have said the exact same thing to anyone who posted that, the fact I think the DJ is a plonker is irrelevant. And I don't think it was exactly 'jumping down his throat' either, think people are getting a bit over sensitive. There was no swearing and I only gave it one 'jesus'

And if that was really the way he meant it, then he's done his old trick of saying something that's open to misinterpretation, so what do you expect? Didi was a ledge so for someone to say he's been 'replaced' after a couple of good games is, to me disrespectful
