Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Xavi's not a holding midfielder. I don't really think Pirlo is either - I'd describe him as a deep-lying playmaker.

            Carry on.

            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I think the performance of Mascherano shows up the ineptitiude of Pardew and Curbishley for not selecting him. He is everywhere and was also exceptional v Arsenal. Pards and Curbs are f*cking useless

Yeah, but if he played more than 10 games for W/Ham then he invoked a 10 million pound transfer fee next yr,NO?

but with that new owner splashing money on davenport, quashie, neil, upson and other overrated ****e i can't recall, surely spending 10 million on masher would represent a good piece of business?

No need to play him at home in the QF.
Momo plays in the away leg against Chelsea / Valencia in the Semi?
? he may play in the home leg in the semi? (this is where we need to be careful)
then he's available for the final.

So in light of the above, it may be best to get his 2nd yellow out of the way in the QF 2nd leg, so he only misses the game that Momo would be ideal for (Chelsea / Valencia in the Semi). Masher loves a tackle so I can't see him not getting another yellow before the final if he plays in all the games. I'd be gutted if he wasn't available for the final.

                        3 bookings for a suspension, not 2
