I have to say I got a little bit worried when we went 3 up and PSV finally woke up. There were half hearted cant be arsed tackles starting to come in and I was worried one of our players could get injured. They were indeed **** but we were brilliant and thoroughly professional.
Horses for courses and we had the right horse on the night for this race. Hold on we are talking about the Grand National right ?
Oh yeah and Riise is a GoaL Scoring God !Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

Jeeeeeeezzzzzz.
I never said we played poorly. All I said is that we did not play really really well......and that perhaps PSV were below par.
If you read the post correctly I also mention that we were so comfortable and never needed to shift into 4th or 5th gear.
Had we needed to up the tempo and really play blinding attacking football I have no doubt we could have, because we were so comfortable and we were basically in cruise control, without playing fantastic football.
Any away win in the Champions League at the 1/4 stage is a good result, a 3-0 margin is a brilliant result.

psv were awful but we done what we had to do we played well in the 2nd half though i still thought we played a bit to much of the long balls early on! the workrate of the players was immense in closing psv down!I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

that mullet-haired gimp at the back put in a really nasty tackle on gonzo - could have done damage. and he wasn't the only one.Felching ≠ Gerbilling

we are experts at making the other teams look bad.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostThey were but it shouldn't take away from our performance. Not jaw-droppingly brilliant or anything, obviously, but we were ruthlessly efficient
Some world class attacking additions to the squad, we will become the last team anyone wants to face in Europe.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I think the lads who were one booking away from a suspension may have been told to go out and get booked to miss the last game, seen Xabi in particular do it while we were 3-0 up, and I was thinkg WTF then I realised.Originally posted by Nicey View PostI have to say I got a little bit worried when we went 3 up and PSV finally woke up.
