I would assume that there would be tight security with the flights etc...

i.e. Liverpool fans board the planes that leave from John Lennon airport and Mancs board planes at Manchester. Both sets of planes land at different airports.

There's surely more than 1 airport in Athens.

It's what happens after that that worries me. There would have to be tight segregation and a hell of alot of bobbies and security at the ground.

Who do you think stand a better chance against the mancs, Milan or Munich ?

I reckon Munich, although I fear Man Utd will progress whoever they face.

fella, think back to 2005, every single airport in the UK and Ireland that was heading to Istanbul was being used.

you'd need to have a much bigger plan than that

It's a derby in the sense that we hate each others guts yes.

God can you imagine? They'll be bringing out all the Heysel songs. If (when) there's even the slightest hint of trouble that will be it. We'll be hearing about for the rest of our lives.

Bayern are definitely the team to avoid for United, in my opinion.

United still have a lot of work to do to reach the final, in fairness. They're away in the 2nd leg which is a definite disadvantage, and they have a woeful record against European giants.

Munich will would probably be the best bet but Milan are still a decent side and certainly capable of beating most teams on their day.

At the end of the day 4 teams in the semis and all will be trying to win the competition.

I have a feeling that whatever happens it'll be us and the scum in the final.

A derby is traditionally (chef. British - surely) between two clubs in the same city (or nearest proximity).
