Liverpool ticket prices 19th lowest in Premiership

I do understand some people scrimp and save to get to a game, but it is a bit daft for a top 4 club to be 2nd lowest in the league ticket prices of if you ask me....

Why is it? Idve said it was the opposite. Why should going to Anfield only be a reward for the rich? We all know the 'Prawn Sandwich brigade', should Anfield become the same? Christ, the Atmosphere is bad enough now because the people that made it are priced out, to price out the few that remain would be ****in stupid.

I see what your getting at, though it's a sweeping generalisation of gargantuan proportion. I've never been to the kop, however the people that have sat around me when i've been at Anfield look like they wouldn't miss a fiver a ticket say.

The demand at Anfield seems, to me at least, to be reasonably high. Perhaps most of the season tickets rises (particularly in the kop) could be kept down while upping the rest i.e. those shifted over ticketline and online.

Bottom line is we seem short on the transfer front, and one of the biggest revenue streams comes from the ticket revenue. Therefore it would seem at least prudent to look into this, alas it's too late this season.

Atmosphere in the lesser games is dreadful anyway! You're telling me those that go to Cardiff, around Europe, or pay over the odds in the CL are short of a few bob. The atmosphere in these games seems fine to me.

The atmosphere in all league games except the derby and the mancs is ****e compared to how it used to be and i dont think its down to all seater stadiums either.

When you ask people, why they dont go the game 9/10 the reason that comes back is that they cant afford it. Groups of lads (or even girls) cant afford to all go together as some will be richer than others and ts only when you get people with their mates do you get an atmosphere because they are not afraid to start songs off. Not many people start chants on their own.

I think this information is something we (LFC) should be proud of. LFC has not let it's success and it's standing within the European game and worldwide appeal go to it's head. I'm not sure whether it would change the atmosphere because the atmosphere has been poor for certain games I've been to. If you only went to the CL semis or big games you wouldn't notice but, for example, boro at home last season was like a morgue.

Anyway i applaud the club for remembering it roots and we should strive to be the cheapest

Fair point regarding groups of friends going, and something everyone can relate to.

Plus for families it is a nightmare now. If I wanted to go with both my kids it's near enough £100 before I've even got in the stadium. I can't afford that now never mind if the prices went up.
