    What Wright-Phillips said

    Not Shaun but Bradley..

He lost his wallet in Southampton nightclub "Ikon" last week (even though it was student night ), a mate of mine found it and when we returned it to him outside the club later that night we got talking to him whilst we waited for a taxi.

    He said:

All four of the top four teams have been in touch about Bale but Bale is only interested in a move to two of the four and would prefer a move to one in particular. Giggs has been grooming him for a move to Man Utd since Bale was 15 apparently. Bale does not get on with Bellamy because when he first broke into the Welsh team Bellamy wouldn't give him the time of day and made some jibe about Bale being there to clean his boots, Bale then outscored Bellamy in a training match and Bellamy has cold shouldered Bale ever since, despite this we are Bale's second choice.

Apparently Danny Guthrie settled in really quickly at Southampton, at both the club and the city and with the squad. He usually goes out with BWP and other Saints players but on the night we met BWP, Guthrie had left early.

Last thing he said which I thought was interesting was that some mid-table clubs have been sounding him out about a return to the premiership but both IW and SWP have told him to play regularly at Southampton rather than warming the bench at a premiership side, I asked him which clubs and he said begins with B and ends in N, I said Bolton or Birmingham and he laughed.

    Welcome to EST chemotherapeutic

So if we sell Bellamy then we will have a chance to sign Bale.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

As things stand Riise is a better LB than Bale. I'd be surprised if Rafa was considering shelling out 10M on him when we've got two decent options as well as Arbleloa who can play there. Nah.

As for Utd, again, Evra and Heinze are miles better, so why Ferguson would want him is beyond me - unless it's to play LW.

No, we have a chance now. We are Bales 2nd choice but he prefers Man Utd cause of the Giggs connection, remember Giggs broke into the spotlight at a very young age as well and has had any exceptionally long career. The Bellamy thing isn't really an obstacle, it was more of a funny story. BWP didn't even say if any clubs have made serious offers he just said they've been making enquiries. If Southampton agreed to sell Bale to each of the top 4, Bales first choice would be Man Utd then us.

I´m sure it is like Walcott, maybe 3 up front and the rest if he does well.

I reckon that it'll be Spurs who will be making the most effort to sign him. He'd be better off there anyways.

Because they want rid of Lee and the French kid they bought is ****. If Bale goes to Spurs he'll be first choice and play week in, week out, which is what he needs to be doing.

Will he get that at Liverpool or United? Not as far as I can see.

You think he is already good enough to play week in week out for Spurs?

Bale should walk into that Spurs team IMO. They're a poor side defensively.

Especially at left back according to a few Spurs fans I know.
                              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
