Gerrard was quite frankly a lazy **** throughout todays game and yes i watched the whole match.

For a Captain of Liverpool Football Club some of his performances this season have been nothing short of disgraceful.

He'd needa buck his ideas up ASAP.

He was poor today. He was PFA Footballer of the year last year and scored 22 goals.

He was lazy today once again, very rarely tracked back and got our attacks going.
The Emirates, Old Trafford, Reading etc etc he's been a ****ing massive let down in terms of urgency, drive, passion, all qualities we used to come to expect from 'the man'. Number 1 Stevie G

Any player can't sustain that level year in year out. There has to be a lull sometime. It happened to the greatest of players. Zidane didn't spark every season and I can name plenty of players.

Why does his post deserve to be treated with disdain?

Because the notion that Stevie G 'can't be bothered anymore' is frankly scandalous.



Also the notion that Gerrard has not improved as a footballer since Geds last season deserves scorn.

Gerrard hasn't had his best season but he's still been very good by and large.
For me he's the best attacking midfield player in the world, and is still the best player i've ever seen in the Red of LFC.
