Liverpool will make a bid for Udinese's Italian World Cup-winning striker Vincenzo Iaquinta. (Daily Mirror)
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Manager Rafael Benitez doesn't seem to be satisfied, however, and now he is planning to splash the new owners' cash for some imports from Italy.

He said as much to Corriere dello Sport: "We are following many players, with several of those in Italy and Trezeguet is one of them, it's true.

"But I also like Iaquinta, Amauri and Bojinov."

LIVERPOOL boss Rafa Benitez will make a move for Udinese's Italian World Cup-winning striker Vincenzo Iaquinta - raising new doubts about his other forwards.

Benitez sent one of his top scouts to watch the target man notch his 13th goal of the season against Chievo last weekend. Udinese want £10million for Iaquinta, 27, who is also a target for Serie A leaders Inter Milan.

Iaquinta is an English-style forward who scored once in seven appearances in the World Cup last summer.

I read somewhere earlier today that the scouts were looking at Zapata and Iaquinta (think it was Tribal football).

This one was also watched : Muntari (21 years old)

He is an attacking mid, he has pace and is very creative player... but his form is not constant.

But i dont believe he is a target as we allready have the best central midfield in the league.

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
