According to club's travel partner packagaes won't be on sale till Tuesday earliest which suggests club still have not finalised ticketing arrangements.

My flight leaves at 6am so I actually get in at 7.30am. I'm going to book a hotel for the night before and go straight there from the airport, kip for about 4 hours and then hit the Ouzo!

I'm well up for organising a huge Est meet up in Athens. It was good luck last time in Istanbul when a **** load of us koptalkers met up and the same must happen again.

I've been to Athens a couple of times but I don't know it well enough to pin point a specific place. I reckon we're just goingto have to organise closer to the time.

There is an Irish bar somewhere near Plaka. Mikes Irish pub if I remember things right. It was three years since I was there so I don't know if it is still open.

what are the chances of picking up a match ticket at the final. Im guessing they will be harder to get if Man U get there.

you will deffo get a tix out there. Only so many milano fans would be interested in traveling. I base this on the number of tixs they sent back last time and from speaking to some of them in Isantbul the urge to see a european cup final is becoming less and less with each final they reach.

Anyone who had the balls to travel without a ticket to Istanbul that went out to the ground got a ticket. Some even paid less than face value when the touts panicked.

I paid £70 on the day for a tix for the Wife from a fellow red. Fortune favours the brave my friend. I'm sure you've heard the tales of people leaving liverpool, and from all over in the 70's and 80's for european cup finals with hardly a penny to their names, yet they still managed to thumb/blagg a lift and lay their hands on tickets.

Last year in Paris was mad for tickets but then not so many people will be able to afford to go to Athens I guess... Plus as you say Milan seem to be in champs league final every other year... They played in Athens in 1994 too when they spanked Barca 4-0
