Berbatov - the most complete striker?

Is Dimitar Berbatove currently the most complet striker in the world?

Is there an offensive attribute he doesn't have?

He is brilliant. Strength, pace, touch, vision, passing ability, heading and most importantly - a wide array of finishing, of the highest order.

He can create extra time on the ball with his brilliant touch and he has the calmess and ability to pick out a man if the chance isn't there to take it on himself.

    He is tops.

Imagine a strikeforce of Berbatov and Torres with Dirk and Crouchy waiting in the wings

      Class act - yes.

Pacy - not really. And don't cite last night as an example - my Grandad is quicker than El Karkouri.

      Prolific enough? No.

He's a beautiful player to watch, though. Sublime touch and vision. I love watching him play but I don't think we should sign him.

I'd say let United sign him for £20m; he does (and always has) squandered easy chances; to be honest he's probably at the right kind of club now - one which isn't going to seriously challenge for honours but can play well on any given day.

When I said 'pace', I meant not slow

As for being prolific though Shaggy. His international record and record for Leverkusen speaks for itself. He is one of the best finishers in the world for me. Finishes of all sorts too - heading, right/ left foot, inside/outside box.

I reckon he'd easily hit 20 prem goals for us.

He's got 22 in all competritions for Spurs this season and bear in mind, it's only his first in English Footy.

            I think I'm in love.

                Hargreaves is obviously one.

Was that deliberate by the way to leave the 'e' off 'complete'?

If we replaced Spurs strikeforce (Defoe, Keane & Berbatov) with ours (Kuyt, Bellers & Crouch), do you think we would be closer to challenging for the title?

Yeah, and if he was a prolific goalscorer, it'd be great. Sadly he isnt.

And dont give me '22 goals this season', the UFAILED Cup doesnt count for much...

He is a teddy kinda player for me.

I'd sign him... about 20m though. Not a bargain.
