his 11 league goals have been against
sheffield, wigan, (2) boro, charlton(3), newcastle, arsenal, fulham (2), everton, west ham.
comapare that with ronaldo, drogba etc and it wouldnt be much different good players score against the lower teams its what they are supposed to do isnt it??
The only teams in the top half of the table out of all them are Arsenal and Everton and most of the rest are either relegated or involved in the battle. I would say the majority of goals ARE against poor opposition.
As I went on to say, it's not neccessarily a bad thing, and the other things he brings to the Spurs team are obviously positive too. But to say he's the most complete striker is going a little too far, to say the least.

And he didn't even score against Arsenal in the league. He got two against Boro. Keane and Jenas scored in the league against Arsenal.
Berbatov has only scored against one team in the top half of the table in league matches - Everton. 7 of his 11 goals have come against bottom five teams.
As for the claim about chances/goals ratio, from the Premiership stats Kuyt is ahead of Berbatov -
Kuyt - 12 goals from 44 shots in 2619 minutes
Berbatov - 11 goals from 45 shots in 2697 minutes

Usually I can refrain from sticking my head in this cesspit of swirling turdery, but something about everyone turning into a complete fellater of Berbatov rubs me the wrong way. Nice player and that, but carried away much?

Hes nowhere near Eto's class IMOOriginally posted by Nic83 View PostIs Dimitar Berbatove currently the most complet striker in the world?
Is there an offensive attribute he doesn't have?
He is brilliant. Strength, pace, touch, vision, passing ability, heading and most importantly - a wide array of finishing, of the highest order.
He can create extra time on the ball with his brilliant touch and he has the calmess and ability to pick out a man if the chance isn't there to take it on himself.
He is tops.
Imagine a strikeforce of Berbatov and Torres with Dirk and Crouchy waiting in the wings
If you've lost your faith in love and music the end won't be long

I would say that Tevez is the most complete striker in the World.
Quick, exellent skill, tough, good in the air, excellent finisher and work his socks off in every game.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
