We didn't pay any money for the loan. It was a standard loan deal.
I have no idea about Tevez and his deal because LFC are not one of the parties involved.

We need an out and out goalscorer not a creator / playmaker who knocks in a dozen a season
Tevez scored a lot of goals in South America when he played as a striker for Corinthians. He also started to score goals when West Ham moved him from playing on the wing to his best position, striker.

Tevez is an out and out goalscorer when he plays as a striker.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

But he's not a goal poacher, as he's more a Rooney type of player.

He is a goal poacher if he plays in that position. Rooney is a great finisher when he gets a chance.

Both of them can create and score goals.

To me a four year deal would indicate that Rafa rates him as a very useful player. Whether he thinks he will start or be a utility or bench player would seem to me the key question.

The Voronin deal was agreed long before the takeover.

Eto'o has played 4 or 5 times as many games in the last two seasons

Your justification of Owen is bordering on the fecking ridiculous
Those words were out of place.

                        Exactly

I can only assume that Tevez has scored lots of goals for AF's CM2007 team because its the only possible way someone would jump to the conclusion that hes an out and out goalscorer

For me hes a link player just lkie Rooney

At best he'll weigh in with 10-15 goals a season

He scored 25 goals in 38 games for Corinthians and he played as a striker and has scored or created goals in almost every game since West Ham moved him from the wing.

Tevez scores goals if he plays in the right position and that isn't on the right or left wing.

Cisse scored tons of goals in France, so did Diouf and Kuyt scored lots in Holland

I have watched Tevez a lot over the last few weeks hes a good player but he isnt an out and out goalscorer - never in a million years

No way would he hit you 20 goals a season

Well, he scores goals now in the PL He has probably been the best player in the PL the last two months.
