Not sure if it was a penalty or not, as I can see if from both angles. Glad to see it given for us, but would hate to see it awarded against us.
The one thing I will say is thank **** we got it and converted it. It was well taken by Robbie, but Paddy Kenny didn't half make it easy for him by diving the wrong way before Robbie was even a yard from the ball.Tales of the Beanworld - A most peculiar comic book experience

All I can say is that we've all seen the Gerrard flail before where he goes down with both arms above his head like he wants to land on his chest, and this was clearly not one of those cases, so it must have been a proper penalty.
