    Cisse just scored for Marseille

    ...AGAIN!!!

His recent return to form is probably good news for rafa as his price will surely be pushed up if marseille dont sign him..

Do you reckon we'll keep him if we dont get an 8m offer???

    Keep it up, Djib.

No chance we'll keep him. Absolutely no chance.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

i know cisse has recently said that if he has to, then he'd be happy to return to liverpool next season.

i also agree it's doubtful though - if he was coming back, then cisse wouldn't have critisised rafa when he left. Also, gerrard would probably not have mentioned him in his book either.

Pity he never worked out for us though. I could see him playing for someone like newcastle / spurs and being handy for them some day... He seemed to me to be a played that was very insticntive - in that if it was a first time shot, (fa cup final) he would be class but if he needed to think about it, like if he was one-on-one with the keeper, he'd **** his load and just hit it as hard as he could - no composure.

no way he wil be back playing for us, would like to see us gtting a good return on him, if that is possible
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Excellent. He will score goals wherever he goes, shame everything apart from that is so poor. He'd do well for a team with a fairly crude attacking strategy. Hopefully we get good money for him now that the goals have come back to him, it increases the chances of Marseille having him as well which is good. As for Rafa keeping him, next to no chance.

            Is it a league game?

Are Marseille good for a champions league place next season?

At least one of my two predictions was bang on.

14 for the season for Cisse! While Craig is lagging behind on 8 or 9...

Well he'll do well as long as he gets 100 chances a game, then he'll get one.

The French Cup Final... and moments after he scored, he had a breakaway chance he put 20 feet wide. That said, and I always say it, if bringing him back helps us land Ribery, he would be an excellent 4th choice.

He should never return to us, that would be a huge step backwards! Cisse is not a premiership striker.

So what's that then, two predictions you made with absolute certainty, one of which took a very poor season from a player to come good, and another which you only stand a chance of getting right because we've played kids of late? Oh aye your predictions were pretty sound based on that. It's like going the races and saying the third favourite will win, that you'll chop off your knob if it doesn't, everyone else says 'don't be so ****ing stupid' then when it does win by half a head you just go 'see', and think it's evidence that you were being perfectly sensible the whole time.

How many of your Predictions were wrong?

Your fixation with the Cisse/Bellamy thing is getting tedious.

You've thought about this way too much.

I just think Bellamy is ****e. That's all.

It doesn't require a lot of thought, most people recognise things like that without the need to verbalise them, which is what makes it difficult to get across.

Bellamy's good enough to score 10 league goals a season, and you flat out denied it was possible, that's why it went in the siggy. Same as with us and finishing 3rd. Is Bellamy better for us that Cisse - I still say yes. Cisse IS a better goalscorer, I've never questioned that, but he disrupted our general play immensely and it wasn't worth the trade-off for a couple of league goals.

Neither him nor Bellamy are good enough for us, we need players who can combine the ability to participate in attacking moves that require a certain level of tactical awareness and intelligence with the ability to score goals. It's not an either/or, it has to be both. It's tough to find quality strikers, but in the interim I think Bellamy for £6m was a decent signing. That said it was only ever in the interim, and he should and will be shipped out, not just for footballing reasons IMO.
