wasn' the Norwegian goal Brann Bergen?Originally posted by fredo View PostThat has to be the goal he scored against some Norwegian side (I can't remember the name
) and it was an away game.
He seized on a Ruddock pass and backheeled the ball into his path and then slammed a left footer pass the keeper. Absolute genius.

There are so many more ... Like the double he scored at OT for Cantona's comeback, or even the double he scored in THAT game against Newcastle.
Robbie was fantastic, the best goalscorer I've ever seen.

Am downloading them mate so I'll keep them forever. Looking at some of these Fowler clips brings back so many memories ... Am nearly crying right now.Originally posted by Dhavlos View PostGreat thread - I am dreading the inevitable day when Youtube has to pull down all the football clips because of the threat of legal action.
He was our genius.

his goal against utd when he mugged gary "the ****" neville off and chipped peter with his right foot. bringing fowler back brought all the memories flooding back and it was definitley one of the happiest days of my life when we re-signed him.I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

Robbie Fowler is the greatest Red I will ever watch.
I was a bit young to appreciate Kenny and Barnes and Rush.
I grew up in an era where Liverpool were the also rans. Some night games but never really were amongst the big boys. Fowler was the only light at the end of a terribly dark tunnel.
Every single goal he got had me jumping to the roof with delight like no other.
It still sickens me to think how GED treated our greatest ever Striker IMO.
So for me it had to be when he came off the bench in the Uefa Cup final and scored.
Outside of Liverpool it would have to be the 5 finger salute to United after scoring City's third.

God.

Possibly the goal against Villa where he did Staunton and smashed it into the top corner with his left. One of my favourite goals ever.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
