I know what you meanOriginally posted by dom9 View PostActually yes.
But also, I find it ironic and spooky that come another cup final, he appears to be fit.
He's had some terrible luck this year though with the virus/injury - we knew since last summer that he wouldn't be back until february at the earliest.Quote of the year :

Ironic, yes, but we can't blame Harry. there have been many people ivolved with the timing of his recovery from Australia and LFC.Originally posted by dom9 View PostActually yes.
But also, I find it ironic and spooky that come another cup final, he appears to be fit.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

It's not Kewell's fault that we haven't got any decent alternatives. If I had the chance of playing in a champions league final I'd move heaven and earth to prove my fitness too.
The problem is with our left midfield, not KewellOriginally posted by Gordon Brown

the cynical side says 1 year left on his contract. possibly sold this summer
australia's first entry in the asian cup this summer. need to justify entry into asian group
the optimistic side says a fit and revitalised kewell is like a new signing and better than most left wingers around. he was very good last year without being spectacular
i feel that his presence gave the midfield balance when stevie tucked in last season and his absence might explain our disjointed displays at times- and even stevie's hit and miss form
don't think he'll start but i would take him over bolo evry day. give milan something to think about"At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques"

I think that would be the best option, he would be a revelation off the bence and would have more of an impact coming on than someone like Zenden.Originally posted by Eth View PostI'd use him as an impact sub - he hasn't got 90 top level minutes in himBill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

I'd prefer to see him running at Milan near the end of the game rather than at the start as I seriously doubt he can complete 90 minutes.Originally posted by Nicey View PostHe was brilliant today ... changed the game .. he looks very lean and was on form. I would start him
Look how easy he gave up in Istanbul, never forgive him for that the knobjockey - but he's by far the best leftie in the team as Riise is simply NOT a winger. Bolo should be shot.:bird:
