Oddo is one of the few Milan players with legs.

With Harry Kewell keeping him busy all night, the Italians will be crippled.
It's not good because it's rude. It's good because it looks like it's good because it's rude.

Imo we should also look at bringing momo on second half, put in some hard tackles on those tiring legs of milan

i watched milan today and if we are to beat them it will come from the outside. they compact the middle of the park similar to how we play but they dont have any quality on the flanks, if kewell shows up to play, he could be the difference between the two of us

I would say that way Harry has played in his time at LFC he has looked the best LW we have had. The problem lies in his fitness. I could argue all day on why Harry was allowed to get in the state he has been, but who cares? Its in the past.

The main reason everyone dislikes Harry is that they expected him to be a world beater like Ronaldo has been this year for Man U. Unfair IMHO.

If Kewell could have finished the final v Milan or played in the World Cup game for Australia he would have. They are games that would have been the highlight of his career. Where do people get the idea that he would rather sit on the sidelines? ****ing mugs IMHO. No harm to anyone, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I love the debate.

Hasn't got the bottle? Give me a break. This applys when you're in a relagation battle, not when you're playing at the biggest stage.

Regarding the CL final, from Rafas comments he will not start, but he would obviously be a great option of the bench. Unfair on others? Maybe. But we are not a ****ing charity, we are a Football Club. If Kewell is the best option on the bench he should be. He gets my vote.

              Rafa, It's over to you.....................

Good to see an honest opinion. Do you see a way back for the lad?

too early to tell. i'd obviously hope so. after all, it'd be like a brand new signing.

                    certainly today, he was excellent.

and like i said a few days ago, even before this display, given the competition out wide on the left i'd play him in the final if he was fit enough.

i have give kewell alot of stick over the last few years, but i think ive gone crazy as i wouldn't mind if he started in athens. he looks as lean as ive ever seen him and i think it would be better starting him than zenden. ive still got a feeling that arebola will start with risse left mid though!
I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

I definately agree plus I think that Bolo is better suited to the european matches than the prem games so he's good for a start IMO

                          Kewell banking on Anfield stay

Injury-plagued Australia winger Harry Kewell says he would be happy to see out the rest of his career with Liverpool.

The 28-year-old made his first appearance of the season for the Reds last weekend when he came off the bench against Fulham.

He followed that up by scoring from the penalty spot to earn a 2-2 draw with Charlton in Sunday's final Premiership game of the season and is now desperate to put his injury nightmare behind him.

His current deal expires at the end of next season and he is ready to commit himself to the Anfield club for the remainder of his playing days.

He told SBS: "If it came around that I had to sign another contract for another five (seasons), for the rest of my life then I will, because it's a fantastic club."

Meanwhile Kewell, who is battling for a place in the Champions League final squad against AC Milan, has also expressed his desire to play for his country in their Asian Cup campaign in July.

Kewell is targeting a friendly against Uruguay on June 2 before securing a place in the Asian Cup squad when the tournament kicks off in July.

He said: "I've rested for 11 months. I just want to start playing football, competitive games and get back into the action again.

"I've missed that and if everything goes well and Liverpool give me the go ahead, I would love to play in the Asian Cup with Australia, because I think it's a great opportunity."

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

To be fair, he would be absolutely crazy to think of playing anywhere else.
Think about it - where would he go? Spurs probably - even though they're improving, it's a step down and he knows it. He owes us, he's settled in the area and now has a chance of playing in his second CL Final (!!)
There's also the huge wages he is on…
As long as the decision rest with him (and not his wife), it's a complete no-brainer, IMO.

I don't know who we would replace Kewell with.

Ronaldo is the only left sided midfielder that is better than a fit Kewell.

I doubt that Rafa will give him a five year deal because of his injury problems. Maybe a two year deal and if he is still fit after next season then give him a new four year deal.
