    Wingers

All this talk about strikers, so who will Rafa sign for our wings. I dont know much about S.American Footy, and it seems that Rafa likes South Americans. I know we have Leto but what about for the RW.

    Any ideas?

Personally I would not mind Alves and Simao.

And if you say Alves is bought as a right winger just add Quaresma.

Alves has now become over priced, simoa is slow from what I've seen of him but brilliant at dead ball. Quaresma I would love.

But there must be some real gems in the Brazil or somewhere in South America. I just wanted to know if people knew of any, as suggestions are to be believed Rafa is looking for there.

I think one of our owners also has a media company in South America, they admitted that this is one of the markets they are targeting for new supporters.
I expect us to keep a very close eye on south American tallent.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

        * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I'll tell you a good right winger - Julian Jenner. He plays for AZ Alkmaar and ripped Newcastle United to shreds in the UEFA cup. He's get tons of step overs, good delivery and in the Quaresma/ Christiano Ronaldo mould. He's known as the Scissor boy or something due to his stepovers. Here's a clip of him-

Anyone have any more info on him?

ive never heard of him before.....looks pretty good in that clip. Nice control, good shot on him, likes to run with the ball. Another quality dutch winger in the making??

                Probably wouldn't cost much either.

                    is he a winger though??

i always thought he was more of an central player. Like Tevez.

Cardozo is a fake left winger(who can play on the right), pretty good player overall. I like him a lot, great long shots, dribbling ability and good pace. I don't think he is our kind of player, cuts in too much and doesn't provide enough width for our needs. One of my favourite players at Boca right now but I don't think he's suite us.

Alves on the right and Kewell on the left.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I saw this guy play a couple of times and my jaw dropped. I was shocked that nobody including myself had heard of him as he was that good. He is so similar to Quaresma and as you said, he won't cost anything and he is a fantastic talent.

He looks quite tall though so may not have much pace against stronger opposition in the prem?! Still, he does look a good player but more of a strong prospect than 1st team regular.
                            Summer Wishlist : - Eto'o, Alves, Tevez!
