as far as i can see Gonzales, Zenden and Fowler are the choices for the final place in the match squad of 18 players.

these 17 are definites in my opinion. Reina, Dudek, finnan, arbeloa, hyppia, carragher, agger, riise, pennant, gerrard, alonso, sissoko, mascherano, kewell, kuyt, bellamy, crouch.

i assume rafa would put zenden in the squad if he is fit. i hope its fowler

I think theres a good chance he would be on the best just in case it goes to penalties. It was a bit of a shame he never got a chance to hit the winning peno against Chelsea, but Reina was just too good that night. That said my nerves would have been shattered if Fowler would have had to score for us to win so im glad it never came to that.

Gonzales and Zenden are lefties, or in Zenden's case, a CM ball winner. We have Kewell, Riise and Arbeloa for the left side so don't need Gonzo or Zenden. We also have Sissoko as a CM so don't need Zenden for that.
