    Crouch yesterday

When I watched Crouch yesterday, it was really sad, as it gave me the nagging suspicion that if we had used him more against Milan, we would be champions again.

Crouch (and I remeber clear as yesterday how disappointed I felt when I read the JH thread on KT about him signing) has improved tremendously whilst at LFC. I think I`m in the minority, but I think if we are to win the EPL, him and his goalsoring form is key. With supply like Beckhams from either wing, he`ll be a nuisance at least, even a threat in the air.

And his knock downs will set up > goals for a fast partner (not Kuyt) upfront. I really think our poor form last season was alot to do with us not using PC enough

I know its not transfer gossip - but was wondering if anyone had thoughts on PC
    We need better attacking players!

thought the commentators were half arsed in their comments. An excellent goal scoring record against minnow sides. WTF , the lad cant win. He's either a goal scorer or he is not. I thought he had a great game.

yeah i noticed that aswell they kept on mentioning his goals were against 'lowly opposition', fukin ****s, if rooney had that many goals in those games it'd be a different story. i mean its not like you play a top 20 team every international, someone has to score against the lower ranked teams and crouch has done a superb job of it.

Crouch has had a phenomenal season for LFC and England.

He has been under used by Rafa

he is the best third choice striker in the premiership. It is nice to see a player working hard and showing significant improvement year after year. He is now twice the player he was when he joined us. He could be lethal with a pure goalscorer like Eto'o and Owen

That is so true. Really ****in winds me up, bigtime. Wasn't expecting the beeb comentator to come out with that **** though.

Crouchie is an awesome player and he has proved himself on every stage. Deserved more than 12 mins in Athens as well.

He's simply not good enough for us.

He's a good player and had a decent season.

He is worth keeping in reserve if we bring in two other world class strikers

2nd top scorer in the CL this season. Scoring goals regularly for England. IMO he is good enough and would be even better with someone like Villa or Owen alongside him.

He's our most effective striker and keeps getting better and better.

                  It's that simple.

Totally disagree with the "not good enough" comment.

If Crouch isn't good enough for us then which of our strikers is?

Seriously, Coruch gets criticised for his heading. If he was 5'7" rather than 6'7" no-one would focus on his heading ability. He's very skillful, difficult to mark, improving in every area of his game and he's in the form of his life.

Just because he's 6'7" doesn't mean he has to be the best in the air since John Charles. Focus on the rest of his game.

                        Like Bill Shankly said

He has good feet and lets face it he's a pro footballer he should have.

lets see how he gets on next year

my opinion of crouch has changed drastically, i thought it was a laughable signing and couldnt believe it. But the lad has done ****ing brilliantly to play despite all the criticism and seems to have a lot of character and is strong mentally.
And even better is that he scores no matter which stage he is on, lets be fair no one can criticise peter crouchs achievements and in my opinion we would have scored 4 or 5 had crouchie played against the milanese.
I love rafa and all that but we need a more stable team, **** all this rotation bull****. (i understand resting players but not as often as rafa does it)
