I don't ever remember it being this heated, nor people as anxious as they now are. It's not even July. Even if we have no money selling bellamy, cisse etc wil raise us 20 million. Surely there's another 10 million from the champions league and another 15 from the new tv deal. That's more than enough without the americans dipping into their pockets. The new stadium is an excellent start to their ownership. bring on august 31st it can't come soon enough imo

I can't even be arsed reading this whole thread, but I have seen numerous interviews where they have both (G&T) stated they'll back Rafa with whatever players he needs as long as it's in a plan, and i'll choose to believe this over the word of some dude on a forum. If it gets closer to the new season and we don't have Rafa's targets, then i'll re-evaluate my stance

Very fair points - they don't have to be putting much in for us to be spending a very large amount of cash.

I guess it's not about the cash so much, it's about attracting the players e.g. by resigning our best players
