    oh dear....

Full thread from "the count" on TLW here:

if you don't know the count he called the gillette takeover before anyone else

Summary of the count's posts today:

    ....we ended up with a couple of D I C K S

The count brings news grim. It's official, the little fella Gillett has confirmed we have f*ck all money to splash in the summer. But, he insists, Rafa is OK about it. Which he isn't, by the way..
    and

There will be money.. but it won't be out of their pockets, let's put it that way. Just the same old budget as we ever work to.

Can I officially say now: Bollocks, this if very bad indeed

There will be hell to pay if it turns out Gillett and Hicks have been taking us all for a ride. Sorry, lying to us all.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

For the love of Jesus, when will it all end. If that's true what the counts says then we are truely ****ed again with middle of the mill signings.

I think there's been too much in the papers for there not to be some truth to the financial rumours. I don't think either men have the huge amounts of money needed to sign the likes of Tevez, Eto'o etc. Not when you factor in the wages and the new stadium build costs etc. However they need to find some money or they will lose a lot of fans trust. Tom do you think they will use the new stadium plans to appease the fans?

              you believe this fella then?

why would our new owner shaft us and risk to be alienated by the fans by lying constantly in the media for months coming up to their first transfer window then?

Wouldn't be at all surprised if this is true. Totally in keeping with the way the club has been run for the last 15 years. Let's see if these guys even deliver the stadium they promised us.

Funny as it is Shaggy, I've been saying that since they started blabbing around and showing off their dollars ... And Bascombe is rarely wrong. I won't lose any sleep if it happens though, we've been 3rd / 4th fodder for years now ... One or two more years won't make any difference to me. We deserve that if we can't compete in the transfer market.

Count is general right, so we are ass is likely to be grass

But if we likely to only have 20 million to spend after sales, I guess that means it will be just Owen and Malouda (explains the talk of no need for a RW as JP had improved etc)

Very sad, (if true) but not unexpected.

If AFII was here, he`d be gloating (and then probably doing one on himself )
                      We need better attacking players!

                      Torres aint enough

Bloody Hell. I actually believed Hicks when he said on ITV that if Rafa wants a player, Rafa could have that player (or words resembling that quote).

I'm looking forward to Rick Parry's first press conference in September if this is true.

Rafa will walk, and I don't blame him. He's been sold a pup.
